Lavender The Prince is a worthy addition to the Lavinnova Royalty series of lavenders. The darke mauve-blue flowers are an absolute mass of intense deep and rich colour on a nicely compact and tidy plant.
Foliage is grey green and keeps it's shape, although a light prune with spanish lavenders at the end of the season to keep them tidy is a good idea and along with a good feed with a high quality fertiliser, will pay dividents in maintaining the fantastic flowering performance.
The royalty series of lavenders true to their mediterranean origins like full sun and good drainage. They make excellent container plants, and while they are dry tolerant, maintaining the occasional deep watering in the dryest times of year will keep them in good heart especially when first planted out as young plants.
