Hosta Dream Queen

Hosta Dream Queen is a larger spreading Hosta with dramatic corrugated leaves which evolve to blue green with a cream central margin. The thick leathery leaves are more slug and snail resistant than most which is a great bonus, but I always feel it is best to bait for these pests when new leaves emerge in springtime.

Hostas are winter dormant which makes them resilient to the cold and therefore they will grow in most places in New Zealand. They are shade lovers preferring dappled shade and moist well-drained soils.
