Bergenias for Winter Colour and Foliage
Bergenias are one of the hardiest of perennials with attractive round leathery leaves and pink flowers carried on spikes in winter to early spring. Foliage is generally a deep green colour but can turn bronze to ruby red as the season cools. Flowers are borne high on rhubarb like stems and are generally pink and star-like. These perennials make an excellent edging or border for a garden bed.
